DIKSOF 032 – Meddie Mercury – Luv Me
Meddie Mercury is one half of the Glasgow duo Am$trad Billionaire, famous for their opening track in Solomun’s Grand Theft Auto Afterhours DJ-Set. Now, left to his own devices and relocated to Stockholm, Meddie’s funky side shines through pretty nicely. Get ready for three disco house guns with oomph.

DIKSO F031 – Erik Ellmann – Lasse
After releases on Large and Poetry in Motion, we are thrilled to have Leipzig’s very own Erik Ellmann on Dikso, stopping by for a funky two-tracker. The title track “Lasse” mounts a bunch of laidback jazzy snippets on a bold house beat. “That Is Why” with its Philly Disco samples beams you right into a ‘75 edition of the legendary Soul Train TV show. Don, please forgive us our trespasses.
DIKSO F030 – Levantine – The Sun Rising
After a very short hibernation, Dikso is back with a two-tracker from Mexico. The first track “Chorus” comes in a classic Dikso shape between House and Disco. The second tracks mounts a latin sample on a Sneak-ish groove. Thicc!
The Black Madonna: Nice!
Jacques Renault: Dig this Chorus track
Mat.Joe: DOPE!!!! Nice EP thank you! *****
Fingerman: Lovely! Chorus is especially up my street
Patryk Molinari: Nice ones! Like both tunes, hard to choose a fav one. Best promo I received this year so far. Full support <3
DIKSO Podcast 20 – Hurlee
DIKSO F029 – Hurlee – New Life EP(incl. Freiboitar Remix)
Hurlee is on fire. After releases on Large Music, Peppermint Jam and Kolour, he stopps by to showcase his interpretation of Dikso and what it sounds like in 2017.
Pete Herbert: Old Friend sounding great!
Shur-i-kan: Nice disco vibes on the original new life.
Mark Farina: very nice! will rock tonight.
DIKSO F028 – Sasha Anastasov – Uno Motif EP
01: Sasha Anastasov – DCBT (Original Mix)
02: Sasha Anastasov – Drama Strings (Original Mix)
Convertible season is here again. Sasha Anastasov from the Ukraine with a wonderful two tracker, a great soundtrack for a road trip with your vintage open-top two-seater.
DCBT combines the Rhodes of the 90s Jazz-n-Groove era with a fluffy Nudisco beat to build an addictive groove pattern running through the whole track.
Drama Strings sounds like Rondo Veneziano after changing into glittery disco costumes and jamming with Chic in a Californian beach venue. Too clichéd? Wait, we have another one: orchestra musicians are not as pure as you might think. Drama, baby!
DIKSO Podcast 19 – Carmine Giuliano
DIKSO F027 – Carmine Giuliano – Future EP(incl. Daniel Solar Remix)
01: Future (Original Mix)
02: Future (Daniel Solar Remix)
03: Never Again
More new blood on Dikso… Welcome Carmine Giuliano from Campania, Italy. We are so proud of the opportunity to support such a talented guy and having his first release at all on Dikso. Contemporary Deep House with a strong Italian early-90’s vibe and some jazzy influences as well. And to add some icing to the cake there is a funky remix by Daniel Solar which leads directly to the roots of Dikso and back – that’s what we call 2017!
DIKSO F026 – Tete De La Course & Paul Rudder – Get Me A Drink EP(incl. Roberto Rodriguez Remix)
01: Makin’ the Magic (Original Mix)
02: Makin’ The Magic (Roberto Rodriguez Remix)
03: Cadillac Disco (Original Mix)
New blood on Dikso… Tête de la Course & Paul Rudder from Asturias with a funky two-tracker bewteen Soulful Disco and Deep House – heartwarming and hipshaking… In addition to this we see the return of the mighty Roberto Rodriguez with an atmospheric deep house bomb of a remix. Great work guys, nothing more to say. FERTIG!
DIKSO Podcast 18 – Jan Mir
DIKSO F025 – Jan Mir – Annapurna EP(incl. Niconé & Rayko Remixes)
01: Jan Mir – Annapurna
02: Jan Mir – Annapurna (Niconé Remix)
03: Jan Mir – Annapurna (Rayko Remix)
04: Jan Mir – 10 Vorne
Homecoming event on Dikso with their 25th release. Homecoming king and world travelling Berlin artist Jan Mir and his homage to Nepalese dream destination ‘Annapurna’ do not only build bridges in geographic terms but also in a musical way.
From the cosmic original version and especially the driving Niconé remix that both open the door to main floors and bigger rooms to the more specific Rayko remix and the even more specific flipside ’10 Vorne’ – this is the best possible way to describe the diversity and versatility of Dikso in just one EP.
DIKSO F024 – Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – Pushin’ On EP(incl. Eli Escobar & Vhyce Remixes)
01: Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – Pushin’ On (Eli Escobar Remix)
02: Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – Pushin’ On (Vhyce Remix)
03: Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – Pushin’ On (Original Mix)
04: Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – La Cupola (Original Mix)
Home game for the Dikso boys Daniel Solar and Andi de Luxe. Their collabo ‘Pushin’ On’ – already featured on Daniel’s ‘Rubicon’ album – was quite a rager and drew a lot of attention. So, it seemed likely to give it a special treatment with a single re-release with additional remixes and a flipside as well. Is flipside still a thing in these digital days? How do you flip a download? Is there an auto reverse feature in Spotify? Find out at your local data dealer.
DIKSO F023 – Freiboitar – Harlem Streets EP(incl. Claus Casper & Jean Philips Remix)
01: Freiboitar – Harlem Streets (Original Mix)
02: Freiboitar – Call The Cops (Original Mix)
03: Freiboitar – Call The Cops (Claus Casper & Jean Philips Remix)
04: Freiboitar – Dear Mom (Original Mix)
Cologne takes over Dikso. For this brand new release Berlin based Dikso label leaves the steering wheel to Cologne’s very own Freiboitar for some serious not serious funky house action. Three original tracks – funky, and with balls – plus a bonus by Claus Casper and Jean Philips – yes, from Cologne as well – who head over from Jeudi to hand over their version of ‘Call The Cops’.
DIKSO F022 – Daniel Solar – Rubicon Remixes(incl. remixes by Giom, Patryk Molinari, Acid Kinski)
01 – Daniel Solar – Times Of Science (Giom Remix)
02 – Daniel Solar – Drowning (Patryk Molinari Siren Dub)
03 – Daniel Solar – The Flow (Acid Kinski Remix)
Dang, that was a thing…
Daniel’s debut album “Rubicon” definitely left a mark on Berlin’s musical map. Its eclectic mixture correlates with Daniel’s musical diversity as well as Dikso’s and opened some new doors that will strongly extend their universe.
This remix package comes with new versions from London-based Frenchman GIOM, Berlin’s very own PATRYK MOLINARI and ACID KINSKI, 50% of Treiber, now on a solo trip. It explores the electronic side of “Rubicon” and adds some floor-friendly aspects — let’s go wild!
DIKSOLP001 – Daniel Solar – Rubicon
01: Daniel Solar – Fascination
02: Daniel Solar – Drowning
03: Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe – Pushin’ On
04: Daniel Solar – Wait And See
05: Daniel Solar – Don’t Let Go
06: Daniel Solar – Moment To Shine
07: Daniel Solar – The Flow
08: Daniel Solar – Echoes
09: Daniel Solar – The Void
10: Daniel Solar – Times Of Science
11: Daniel Solar – Friction
What it is: The first longplayer by Dikso mastermind Daniel Solar and the first longplayer for Dikso. What you get: An enjoyably balanced journey between intro- and extroversion, between eclectic house and futuristic electronic, between dancefloor and your very own castle. Catchy, not cheesy, grounded but not undergrounded, Dikso not Disko!
DIKSOF 021 – Vhyce – Struggle EP(incl. Remixes by Pete Herbert and Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe)
To be continued…? No, it’s here! Vhyce is about to return with another two floor monsters plus remixes. “Struggle” was remixed by the almighty Pete Herbert (aka 50% Reverso 68) who levels up the original monster to a creature with at least two hips, four bums and 16 legs to shake for full dancefloor pleasure. The second remix sees the Dikso boys Daniel Solar & Andi de Luxe treating “Can’t Get Away” with so much love and caress… the moment when you feel the need to cuddle a track… but it’s just a track. Awww…
DIKSOF 020 – Vhyce – Lies EP(incl Remixes by Larse and Luvless)
The new Dikso is a delicious summary of their 20 releases so far. Classic house meets classic disco and classic funk…. some things will never go out of style. The originals were made for the dancefloor, the remixes by Larse and Luvless definitely tend to the morning hours, wherever they may be spent.
Vhyce… someone had to clean up the fragments and leftovers of the recent disco hype and the numerous house revivals. Thank god this talented boy did such a brilliant job that his creations are so much more than just the sum of its parts.

With three all new tracks between nodisco, nohouse and nonotrance
Death On The Balcony are again jack of all tracks and a master in combining them to their very own mixture.
When Daso heard the tracks he didn’t miss a beat when he
offered his remix services.
And here we go… DIKSO number n-n-n-n-n… n… n… n… n-n-n-n-n… nineteen
DiKSO Podcast 15 – Daniel Solar
Kids, it’s podcast time!
Long time no see Mr. Solar. Daniel has been so busy with secret things for the even more secret Dikso underground organization that there was no time for a new mix. But here it is, 60 minutes of joy and happiness. Have fun…
More Solar on http://danielsolar.com
DiKSO Podcast 14 – Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul
Busy as a bee those dutchmen… If you wanna see how the tracks from their “Faith EP” they recently released on Dikso fit in a set should listen to this. 60 minutes of mind & soul massage for those who can’t stand that shitty winter anymore. And if you are in the lucky situation that you live in the southern hemisphere, this may be the soundtrack for your beach BBQ.
DiKSO Podcast 13 – Magnier (House Of Disco)
Just another Summer Of Love…
As you may have noticed already, we at Dikso headquarters are totally in love with The House Of Disco, David Magnier’s label for the future in house and disco. To fill the summer with some love Dikso and The House Of Disco created a label-mash-up-compilation called House Of Dikso that topped the charts at Junodownload and was also pretty successful on all the other platforms like Beatport and Traxsource. But this was not their first collaboration, Daniel and Andi’s disco house roller “Seventh” was also released under the House Of Disco banner and can still be found in Beatport’s Nu-Disco top 100 (for almost 2 months and counting…).
Now, here is the return visit: Magnier on Dikso. Have fun with 60 minutes of pure bliss he sent over the channel to Berlin, and now from Berlin right into your hearts. Tracklisting is still shut away, only MI5 knows! [addition: how wrong can one be. MI5 and kiss & tell, Diksoleaks!]
DiKSO Podcast 12 – Damian Uzabiaga
Dikso all over the world…
With podcast number nine we presented a young talent from Greece that Marc Poppcke met at one of his gigs. A super nice guy with a wonderful taste in music and style.
This time it is Daniel who brings us another guy he met at the other side of the globe, Damian Uzabiaga from Playa del Carmen, Mexico. After mexican dream team Balcazar & Sordo delivered our personal summer anthem on the latest edition of “Super Sound Singles”, here is the next one from the land of cacti and tequila. Like Balcazar & Sordo, Damian represents a new generation in central american house… Hold it! We now all these different styles of US american house and some latin flavoured stuff that can be roughly assigned to south america. But central america, mexican house music? OK, maybe it’s time for a new chapter in house music, welcome to the house of maya…
More info…: http://soundcloud.com/damian-uzabiaga
DiKSO Podcast 11 – Nhan Solo
When you check out a podcast you will have a look at the tracklisting first. So, four of the first five track titles include the word “Love”? Any questions?
It’s Nhan Solo from Berlin who joins us for podcast number eleven. He brings us some warm and deep slowmo disco mixed up with Janet, Liz and Lydia. Wanna meet the girls? Check out these 59 minutes of “Love”.
Nhan runs the up and coming label Semester Musik, resident in the recent Beatport chart lists and different cases and harddisks of Berlin and not so Berlin deejays. He joins us at Dikso not only with this wonderful podcast, he will also be on our next Super Sound Single Vol. 7, coming up in April with some still top secret hot stuff from Mexico, Dortmund and London. And from Berlin, of course!
Also watch out for Nhan’s new baby, a new label called Mother…
[DiKSO PODCAST 10] André Langenfeld
1979 – Video Killed The Radio Star. Radio programmes are for senior citizens, the future is music television.
2011 – Music television is just a shadow of it’s former self. In Germany MTV turned pay TV and its sister Viva exchanged the music videos with daily soaps and other stuff for general pubescent interest. Radio Killed The Video Star?
I know wide areas in Germany where you can scrap your radio, nobody needs this boring Top 40 shit or “the best of 80s, 90s and from today”. I hope that the people of my hometown Berlin can estimate the value of their high quality variety of different radio stations they have. One of these stations is “Fritz”. And one of their hosts is André Langenfeld.
Starting his radio career right after the fall of the wall with a hip hop show on DT64, the legendary legacy of GDR youth radio, you can hear him now on Berlin’s Radio Fritz with his ‘Nightflight’ show that features an intersting and wide range from nu-disco to house, from dubstep to electo. new stuff as well as classic stuff. Every friday night (to saturday) from 0:00 to 5:00 AM or for the following 7 days on: http://fritz.kunden.nc3.de/fritz.samstag.1.pls

Dikso welcomes their Berlin mate Daso who comes along with a fleecy and fluffy EP full of pure disco trance from outer space.
2014’s final spurt… Just in time for christmas Dikso is proud to present their first EP from Daso. Well known for his releases on Connaisseur Recordings and Oliver Koletzki’s Stil Vor Talent imprint he was searching for a homebase to show the disco aspect in his work which directly led him to Dikso.
Combining classic trance elements with disco drumming and a slight cosmic atmosphere Daso created the perfect EP to get into the long dark winter months. The musical equivalent to the northern lights that enlight and entertain until the sun comes back.

DIKSO welcomes 2014 with an EP from DEATH ON THE BALCONY, two handsome boys from London that perfectly fit in the gap between the different styles that Dikso is all about. Their biography sounds like that their way sooner or later had to lead to Dikso. Let’s celebrate this meeting at the crossways of musical history with three brandnew original tracks plus a remix from Dikso landlord Daniel Solar.

What happens when two of the freshest labels join forces……..this, the “House of Dikso”. While so many labels chose to compete and run parallel to each other the boys over at Dikso and House of Disco Records have decided to bridge the gap and work together to bring us 12 of the best tracks they can get their mits on. Rammed full of emerging talent and established producers ‘House of Dikso’, the first in a series of label collaborations, aims to showcase sounds from the spectrum of disco and house, remaining ever optimistic and uplifting. Initially a digital release the 4 most popular tracks will then be pressed onto a limited edition vinyl. If the history of these two labels is anything to go by this will have more gems on it then Lady Gaga’s bra.

B2 / Satin Jackets feat. Natalie Conway – One More Chance
This is number 10 – how time flies when you’re having fun. But this is not the right time to get sentimental because there are four great new tracks for you. Ultrafunkular House from Detroit, ah no… from the land of the rising sun… ah, wrong again… it’s from Berlin. And we have label head Daniel Solar collaborating with Huxley, one of UK’s definite talents in deeper House. Not to forget Balcazar & Sordo, the intercontinental contribution from Mexico and Satin Jackets. He is about to return to Dikso. Could you celebrate a 10th record more impressive?
DIKSO 009 – V/A – Super Sound Single Remixes(incl. remixes by KRL, Roberto Rodriguez, Homework and Daniel Solar& Andi de Luxe)
Welcome to Dikso’s unbelievable before-and-after-show. Four contestants and four remix teams, four original stories that had to be continued and four results that had to be pressed on vinyl. B2 – Daniel Solar – A Walk In The Park (Pional Remix)
After five Super Sound Singles here is Dikso’s very first artist EP and of course it will be Daniel Solar’s job to do the kick-off. His Retrospect EP features the most zippy stuff Dikso has released so far without being an ordinary house record. The percussion is minimalistically filigree, the atmosphere is fluffy and Aniya’s voice on “Can You Really Know” comes direct from outer space… er… down under.

A1 – Nicholas – Without You
A2 – Daniel Solar – Fake It
B1 – Alkalino & BlackLodge – Breaking Bad
B2 – byDesign – Get Into This Groove
Orange it is. Our second release has hit the shops and the first reactions are great. Again we collected some very interesting tunes from all over the world. Expect banging house music as well as some relaxed and groovy stuff for me and the ladies. This time we have four tracks instead of three and even though this fact calls for a campaign under the motto “get 33% more…” we still serve music and no cleaning agent.
DIKSO 001 – Super Sound Single Volume 1(Francis Inferno Orchestra - Nicholas - NoRequests)
Dikso gets physical. Right before we celebrate the 10th DiKSO Edit, we have something special for you: the first Dikso release on vinyl, real vinyl. Vinyl to play, to collect, to hold in your hands, to love. Speaking of love, in the last months we have met a lot of very talented guys (and only one gal – say hi to Maggie…) all over the internet and we have listened to so much lovely music. So we decided to use another medium that represent these tracks in their full glory: the good old vinyl. Don’t get us wrong, we still like the internet as the most democratic option to provide music. But sometimes you have to create things that last longer. Future archeologists will exhume analog media like photos and vinyls as well as illegible hard disks and CDs, and guess which will have survived?
Our first issue is a mini compilation 12inch with three tracks called “Super Sound Single Volume 1”. These three tracks come from all over the world: Australia, Italy and the USA.
